CCTV System Inaugurated for Town Surveilance at Dhupguri Today

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri, 19th June, 2017: For beefing up the security traffic system of Dhupguri town a CCTV projector was today inaugurated by the Police Super Mr. Amitabh Maity. Along with him, there was Smt. Nur Jahan Begum, the Sabhadhipati of Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad, MP from Dhupguri Smt. Mitali Roy and others. A total of 58 CCTV cameras were installed presently at Dhupguri town. However, not all are activated at this moment. Four more towers will be installed throughout the town. A control room is also being built to monitor the CCTVs. The main areas where the CCTV are installed are Dhupguri Chowpathy, Dhupguri College More, Thana More, Mayersthan More, Hospital Gate, and Cinema Hall Para. On behalf of the Dhupguri Municipality Rs. 25 Lakhs are sanctioned for this project.
